Alright, first of all, a disclaimer: I honestly didn't know on which forum to put this, 'cause I don't think it's *so* off topic to go into the "non gameplay related" section, although I am aware it's not 100% gameplay related either. So yeah, I think its final place will end up being an admin choice. I'm sorry Mr. Admin, didn't mean to make you work, just honestly did not know where to place it Okies, now, with the last game update, the Shard of Fear was released, and with it, a new item, a scythe called "Dawnfear, the Reaper" started to drop. It procs "Bos Bovis Carillion", which kind of means: "More bovine(cow) bell". And the proc description is: "You gotta have more!".In case you don't know or remember, there was a (quite funny) SNL sketch some years ago, where host Christopher Walken was playing a music producer (Bruce Dickinson haha but nothing to do with IM), who was recording "Don't fear the reaper", and then you had Will Ferrell there with the band, whose only job was to play the cowbell, which kept distracting the rest of the band, who were complaining about the darn thing. But even then, Walken kept demanding to have "More cowbell!"...Anyway, was nice to see the nod, and was wondering if any of you guys came across any other out-of-the-game reference in there. Oh and would really like to know what the hell does that proc do... haha...Cheers

Better late than never applies here, lol. I've noticed a lot of things from the game that were taken from other things, (seems to be mostly movies, too.) The quest from Havras Scutter in LP that awards "The Hand of Glory", same quest name is taken right from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: inside Burgin and Burkes shop, Harry finds a withered hand on the mantle with a tag that reads "The Hand of Glory."

LoL, too funny. Ok, here's a pop culture reference I haven't heard others mention:During the Swords of Destiny quest, you have to go to New Tunaria, and summon the ghost of some dead High Elf. After you talk to him, he kinda just wanders around the area for a while, and starts quoting Planet of the Apes, saying something along the lines of, "You maniacs! You ruined it! [Removed for Content] you! [Removed for Content] you all to the Void!"

The Erollisi Day quest "Fine 'em a Find, Catch 'em a Catch!" is from the lyrics of "Matchmaker" in Fiddler on the Roof.

I have an old one for you:The NPC standing on the rock when you first zone into Wailing Caves is modeled after "Invader Zim". His voice sounds the same, dialogue .. and his quest reward is a "Doom Stick".
