I have been away from EQ for some time and am about to get back into it because i see there is PVP now. I was just wondering are monks useless in PvP, and what class between necro, bruiser, warlock, and warden would be best for pvp?

Monks and bruisers are decent. Warden is better. Warlocks are decent for soloing, and absolutely awesome in groups. Necromancer is... challenging.

necro isnt challenging, is plain and simple suicide at t7. Don't BS the OP, no other class has zero defense in this game in pvp. What needs to be done for necros is the abilities that make them soloer's in pve need to be implemented as WORKING functions in pvp. ATM pets don't pose a threat so most ignore them, that needs to be changed to be effective in pvp. Sorcerers get manashield, we get a resistable stun, root, and fear, also all these abilities are potioned off easily if they do land, so pretty much worthless. Our abate life spell rolls in about 800 dmg wich trades for us a 200 hp heal on average, around every 10seconds if its not resisted (normally is). Meanwhile most other dps classes or utility classes are able to do more than 200 dmg on a non crit and toss out anywhere from 1k-4 dmg in a single spell. So like i stated b4, don't bs the OP, necro's are not challenging, they are nerfed into a token vendor.

Sorry Dracot, I disagree. Any class can do well if you know what you're doing. Try different things, find something that works.

Having said that, Necros (and to a slightly-lesser extent, conjurors) need some lovin.
