This is something I've seen with another online environment (Second Life in case anyone was curious) and I think it'd have some strong merit here. It would give interested players the feeling that they have some say in a game that they invest much of their time (and monthly subscription) into. The suggestion is a forum where people may post about desired features/changes and then each unique account can vote for it. Votes are only positive and are limited to X per account (ten for example), meaning that someone would could post and/or vote for the top ten things they'd like to see added/changed/removed. A vote can be retracted if someone decides there's something else where their vote may be better cast. The purpose would be that items with the most votes are things that the game developers should more strongly consider for future expansions and updates. After all, the game is for the players, and the game can't exist without the players. This also allows players who may not necessarily feel strongly enough to post an idea to at least review one and agree that it has some good merit to it and cast their vote. Some ideas may be considered unreasonable or not feasible but could be responded to by a developer/representative that it won't be considered at that time and maybe a brief response as to why. This also allows players to know that their ideas are heard and aren't submitted into a void. Please consider such a forum/system. I feel quite strongly that it could benefit the game a lot and help keep EQ2 toward the top especially as newer and potentially more innovative MMO's come out.Thank you.Edit: Sorry, by the way.. I couldn't find any better place for this post.
