Hello all,I know this has been asked before but I just want to ask again. I own all the expansions in CD (DVD really) and like that just in case I need to move to a new computer or my hard drive is corrupted. But this time I have really been thinking about get the the Digital DL; My question is if I download and then get a new computer or something happens to my old one, what do I need as prof that I own Kunark and can re-download it for free?I just don't want to spend the time of installing that CD then having to re-patch everything because it is out of date by the time it all goes live. Anyone help me here pick please? Thank you.

Once you register an expansion key to an account, it's there permanently. That should be all that's needed. It's probably a good idea to keep a physical record of the expansion keys, though, in case you need to call customer support.

I think I'll go with the Digital DL then.

On the new EQ2 site, there is a button saying 'get the game', there is a place where you can download the installer client. I think it will download/patch what you have paid for in your account. I never used it myself but it should work.

Im assuming it works the same as SWG did it. Once you have a key assigned to the account , the patcher will download any content you paid for, or update any disk install you did.

The sony store would automaticly assign the key for any content you bought to the account. I never bothered to download any digital downloads , unless i needed to start a fresh install.

The installer client has a few funny quirks, assuming your not using any disks.

1. dont put the installer extracted file in the same directory as where you want the game to be installed (it has the same exe name as the game client)

2. even after spending the better part of a day downloading the game would crash when trying to create any zone. at least on the install i did . Had to finally use the station launcher to patch it to work (only works on US installs) Eq2 launcher kept saying the install was fine , took another 50 mins of downloading with the station launcher , and then it worked fine.
