Decided to come back to EQ2 after a long break.I'm running a vista ulti 64 bit, 8800 GTS system.. While its not supported.. just wondering if anyone knows of a fix / workaround or know what might be causing this.I run the patcher, type in my login info and it updates fine.. i press play and it loads to the screen with "Everquest 2" i click a couple times to get to the character screen, but right before it "should" load to the character screen i get this error;~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Everquest 2 has detected a unrecoverable error and must be shutdown<verify> E:liveeq2gameclientsrcNCS2.cpp (1869): Missing required window: NCS2slideshow~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Updated drivers, and ran a full file scan.. running in compatibility mode for Windows Xp service pack 2 and running as a admin fully updated windows.. and EQ2 isnt blocked by any firewallTried setting the launchpad in compat mode as well, under Sony/Station/Launchpad/Launchpad application.Have no clue whats wrong, used to run perfectly.
