View Full Version : Fury AA placement
Can someone tell me, whats the best placement for AA's on Fury. I am a main healer most of the time, but love to deal damage when I need to. So what i am looking for is What ever will work for DPS and Healing.

Your best bet for increasing dps would be to fill out the INT line In the Druid tree. By completing this line you will get an extra melee attack, increase in damage crit chance, increase in your casting skills and an extra damage proc when you cast beneficial spells in combat. I love this line I've never been particularly impressed with any of the other lines with regards to increasing our healing ability, but I went STA because it gives a heal crit chance increase with Serene Focus (second to last item on that line) which is nice. Additionally some of the stun immunity abilities for yourself and potentially another group member that come from that line can be handy. My current set up that seems to suit my 70 Fury well for soloing, grouping, and raiding is STA 4-4-6-8-1 and INT 4-4-7-8-1.

As far as the Fury tree, I went Animalism, as I like some of the buff enchancements it provides, as well as a last-ditch effort for power regen. If you're looking to boost your dps even more, the Energy line reduces some recast timers on your damage spells, so that's worth looking into.

Happy Smiting!

After trying most all the lines to the max, I found the funnest spec involves a little bit of a few abilities. Intelligence line to crit chance to 6 or 7. Wis line for the power and to 6 or 7 for in combat run speed (handy for kiting). Str line to at least 1 in CA that increases Attack speed. Agi line to get pet. For fury spec I have root and snare maxed, and my damage spells all cast faster and recycle quicker. This arrangement has me doing the most damage yet, and I can still heal plenty well except on the most difficult encounters with the most paper of tanks. In loping plains I send in the pet, debuff, snare, stack dots, nuke...by now the mob start to come towards me while my level 63 pet bangs on mob for up to 300 damage per hit, not to mention proc'd dots; the mobs crawls so slowly towards me with maxed snare on fury AA, I continue to stack dots and nuke as the mob falls pitifuly at my feet If he get close enough, I unleash the melee on him and quicken his fate.I just set this spec up and frankly it a great solo spec for me, clearly doing more damage then if I specced any one line all the way.Problem with intelligent "stormcaller" ability is the nuke associated with the beneficial spell is random target in area...so you can end up hitting mobs you might not want to.I want to continue adding to the STR line because one ablity I miss form that is the group heal on melee attacks. That thing use to proc all the time and was not a bad supplemental heal.

Infusion procs on the nearest mob you're in a fight with...if you aren't fighting it hits the nearest mob. As a main healer, infusion will give you nice dps boosts in groups.
