Tradeskill classes on the Char Select screen?

<p>Now that the crafts are getting love and attention (from the lovely hobbitesque Domino - may her softly hirsute feet ever be warm, and her chocolate and jumjum never run out), is there any chance we might actually be treated as proper classes and be listed on the Character Select screen, along with the Adventure class/level?</p><p>I've been away almost a year (RL issues), and on returning, I ended up going through each char I had, just so I could check and note down exactly what tradecraft/level each one was. Of course, it gave me the opportunity to see all the wonderful platseller mail that loaded up each char's mailbox, but ... <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> )</p><p>Maybe its a minor thing compared with all that's happening and planned for our trades, but this annoyance seems to have been around ever since day 1 of EQ2, back when we were actually asked whether we were an Adventurer or Artisan on the island.</p>

me wants now... its one of the better ideas out there<img src="/eq2/images/smilies/e8a506dc4ad763aca51bec4ca7dc8560.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />i have so many toons i have made a spreadsheet... lol.. excel ftw.. its mostly to make me remember which toon is on which acc though... i woudnt have to update it anymore with every lvl gained at crafting if char select would show crafting lvl and class lol

Best would be if you select a tradeskill profession at char making, you don't have to select a adventure class and could do it later in the game when you want to level him as an adventurer.Like you don't have to select a crafter class at the beginning and can choose it later in the game when you actually want to level a crafting class.

The whole TS profession selection process is still the same as at launch, with the wrinkle that you can reset your profession. I, too, have often wished that you were able to see your TS profession at the launch screen. I'll /feedback it tonight. ;D

<p>Thanks for the replies. I ought to point out though that this wasn't about getting Crafter-only, or such.
