Warlock questions

So, I made a warlock and I like it a lot (level 42 so far) but I cant figure out what god I want to go with. From my EQ1 knowledge it sounds like Bertoxx would be the best but I am a "good" warlock so that is out for me currently. Who do the "good warlocks" worship? Also I was thinking of maybe betraying to Freeport/Neriak. Will I loose all my Adept III"s/Master I's if I do this? I know all the spells will be upgraded so its not a huge loss but would hate to have to get all the spells I am currently uses again.

<p>Solusek Ro is a fine choice for any mage. Since he's a neutral god, anyone can follow him. I'm too lazy to use the miracles and blessings so I only pay attention to the stat boosts from the pets and the cloak abilities. The pet will give you a nice int boost which is always good for mages. The cloak will increase your spell damage by 65 - there are better cloaks out there, but this is still a nice cloak. I'm not sure what Bertoxx will provide, but seeing as I live in Qeynos I won't have the choice to follow him anyway...</p><p>If you betray to an evil city, I'm pretty sure that all your spells will be reset to App 1 even if you don't switch classes. Not absolutely certain though. If that's true, then you will lose all your Adept 3 and Master spells. I know this definitely happens if you switch classes. </p>

If you betray all your spells are set to app1 when you complete the betrayal quest whether or not you change class.If you remain in exile you keep your spells.  Since warlock is a neutral class a warlock in exile can worship any god, good, evil, or neutral. Banking, broker purchases, earning status & purchasing status items from city merchants could cause a bit of a problem for the exile.  I'm still trying to find out how those are handled.  Maybe I'll exile one of my alts

Cool, thats what I was afraid of, oh well I am still low enough that if I loose all my Adept III's and Master I's its not such a bad thing. I will wait until I can find out what all Bertoxx offers before I move forward with betrayal.
