So far i can access other SoE games, just not EQII. This is becoming most annoying.

I am getting the same thing. This is the 4th time I have had some kind of problem getting into the system in the past 2 weeks. This is nuts. I understand that they are dealing with the large wild fire in SD, but come on, this is still an International company and they should have had a backup plan for just such an event. It is not like everyone who lives in that region of the US does not know that forest fires are common place and will happen every year. I do have great sympathy for those who have lost home and friends, as well as suffered from the stress of the unknown for their future. But SOE is not strictly a California company. They server people all over the world with a 24/7 online service and should be prepared. Having worked in an IT department years before there was a WWW, I know that any IT professional would have a redundant backup system.

Just my 2 cents.

Ive been punted off the server a couple of times in the last few weeks.

It comes up with a message "Trying to contact server No.2, then 3, 4, etc." till finally Im dropped to the desktop.

Im wondering if the fires in Cal are not having an impact on the infrastructure and having a hard time keeping the DNS's in line.
