I feel that we should have an update to what housing is in the game. I have 2 ideas and would like to know what people think.1) Add 2 and maybe 3 room Inn rooms to the home towns. The reason I would like to see this is because I lag real bad in all Freeport city zones. And If I want to move I can only pick the 2 room Inn in WF because that is the only city zone that has crafting stations with writs and a bank. It would be nice to have full crafting zones in each city zone or at least add the NPC where we can get the writs if we have to craft in the streets.2) Add "guild halls". What I think would be great for guild halls is to allow the guild leader (only) to buy a hall. For lower level guilds it could be a single great room and a number of doors. These doors are to "Inn" rooms for guild members to buy/rent. The rent paid my members subtracts from the rent do for the hall, so say when you have 10 members renting rooms in a level 30 guild hall the hall is basicly free from rent. As the guild grows in levels the leader can buy upgrades like opening additional common rooms, a portal to the docks, a post office, personal brokers and bankers, guild vaults and items like that. We should be able to buy one hall in each city but each hall would need its own "renters" to off set the halls rental. I do not think this would be real hard to make as all the graphics are done already. A 2 room Inn room in the guild hall would like just like the 2 room Inn rooms in the city now. And I am sure there is a room already made that could be used for the great room(s)Just my ideas. What does everyone else think?

I believe guild halls are already in the works but there have been no details released about them.

As for problems moving around in city zones because of lag....I think they are working a bit to improve performance on lower end systems, but ultimately they won't go to great lengths to build content around low end systems because it's pretty standard for games to move forward with technology and leave the stragglers behind.

Guild halls would be sweet, or even just some new choices. My main's inn room is the one in East FP, and having a few more choices in East FP would be great (theres currently only one). I know there are lots of places in other areas, but everywhere you go is through EFP or QH in Qeynos. I don't really wanna spend 3 min to run up to my house in North or South FP and back. I'm not sure where access to RoK will be, but I'm guessing through the harbors also.

I like the idea of the change to housing that you all suggested. I have another that should be quite simple to implement and provide a great deal of interaction. My idea is for some kind of welcome message you can set for both standard visitors as well as different versions for friends and trustees. It could be a simple pop up with an [OK] button so that when someone comes into your house they will have to read your message. For myself, I would like to be able to put some of the different sales crates in different parts of the house. For example, I have a provisioner and would like to have the pantry sales display in the area I made into a kitchen, the Jewelery box in the room I have my work bench in, etc. Some just might want to have a simple greeting or nothing at all.

Just my thought.

Then put it wherever you want it in your house.I do recommend keeping them in plain sight and near the door, simply because most people won't want to have a game of hide and seek to buy whatever it is. If I can't find the sales display pretty quick, I am likely to zone out without purchasing and find another supplier. This doesn't mean that you have to have a heap of boxes by the front door. But consider customer ease when you arrange them.

They know they can place the pantry or boxes into the house.. but they would like to be able to create a message for those who zone into the house, so they know where the boxes are right away - without them all having to be right in the front room.
