Initially I thought this would be a solid trio to try out, but as things go along, I'm starting to question things. It's nothing like the monk/def/illy or serk/brig/warden trio's I have played so far. My plans were to buff the snot out of the dirge buffs in AA's and send the Inq down the battle lines.Any thoughts on how this trio would pan out in the 40-60 game?

It is a very safe, very solid group to play. Unfortunately it is also a bit slower than other groups you listed in terms of leveling due to lack of ports and not as much dps. Probably will be comparable to zerk/def/illy overall. Inquisitors are very solid dps, but to maintain it, you'll have to pay a lot of attention to him, not exactly an auto-attack class for dps role.

Inquisitor needs at least 35 or so AA points to really come into their own with dps (and even more to maximize their dps).

I don't know if your plan is to box or whatever, but in order to maximize inquisitor dps output you need to toggle zealotry between heals as well as keep all of the combat arts used when they come up.

I think the combo itself is a good one, but if I had to pick the ultimate trio with an inquisitor in it I would probably say zerk, swash, inquisitor. This is because swash debuffs make the mobs do less damage which makes reactives better able to keep up with the damage, in addition inquisitors have excellent melee dps buffs that would benefit everybody in the group.

The Inquisitor is good, but in all honesty you might be better off with a Fury if your looking for DPS. It'll also give your trio some ports to make travel easier.

My preference for healers on my Berserker are either Templars or Defilers personally.

Not really worried about ports, and dps isn't a huge issue. Being able to do content is the primary concern.

I am 3 boxing but you may as well refer to it as a trio. So far, I have been able to use all the characters to what I would call better potential than your average PUG. I'm running the berserk and dirge on 1 PC, the hotbar buttons are to the side of each window, so they are easily accessible. It's essentially 1 screen being looked at, no 'true tabbing' is needed, The Inq is on the left side of me, and I've got the AA's to make the spells melee attacks and they are working fine, if not better than the inq's dps spells. The biggest thing I'm having issues getting used to is the reactive proc, because I'm used to wards, but it's starting to come to me, and I'm enjoying it more and more . So far the group has longevity and with moderate dps. I'll post more as the 3box/trio advances.
