sneaking into Neriak

<span style="color: #0099cc;">Is it possible for a goodie to sneak into Neriak? My 53 monk is trying to make a display case delivery and is being hassled by the guards. Is there a way to get her into the back where Kyrax's house is? not that I have seen. the guards at the gate see through invis as well, and are lvl 74 epicX2 I think. tried sneaking in for aa with a pally and a fury..invis didn't work at all. maybe they don't see through stealth, but I doubt it.

That's odd... I (Qeynosian goodie Fury) went in there the other day to see if I could get that fay racial book, but not full of hope since I knew the guards at the front were 74 epics...However, they didn't see through my invis... None of them did in any of the parts I have been. I have the book in my house to prove it <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I think you need to be 70 to invis by the guards.

Snuck in on my fury as well, level 70, no issues with invis -- make sure you have no pets out, not even the little temporary mage type pets, for some reason when you zone or come too close they see those

Try the Orb of Teleportation - that's how I got my monk in there --- I keep an evil in Neriak with one on her at all times for that purpose <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Kind of pricey, but worth it for beautiful homes!  I always make sure I load up with multitudes of stuff when using it so that I can ensure that the delivery is worth it <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I got brave a while back and entered Neriak with my 66 Dwarf Fury. No problems except for having to cycle my invis occasionally so it would not end in a bad place. If you are within ten levels of the guards (75 epic X4's) then they should not see you. Mind the pet advice above. Not a place for us goodies to do business since I noticed guards in the banks and brokers I peeked into. It's a beautiful, eerie city. Good luck!

Tested it yesterday just to see, and had no issues at all still. Are you maybe lagging on zone-in or something and the invis isn't popping up fast enough?

nope, we zoned in. sat outside of the aggro range, group invised, and then started through. they saw her, destroyed her, and then me.

<p>It was my understanding that guards have always had the ability to see through invis.  As a level 70 illy and guard, we were able to get through Neriak.  You can if you do it carefully and watch the guards' patterns.  They do not follow you for long at all, it's almost as if they are on short leashes or tethered or something.  Just run FAST to get through first set of guards but make sure the one that roams the first area, Indigo Hollow, isn't close to the entrance.  Some you can't avoid, like the ones on the bridges, but they don't follow you long either.  As you go deeper and deeper just be careful and find those safe places to stand while guards roam by.</p><p> Good luck!</p>

<p>The whole invis debate thing is as simple as this: you must be level 65+ with invis and no pets out (unless it's like a conjy pet, but I'd hide em anyways) and you can sneak through.  Having a level 70 invis someone who's level 50 won't work because it's dependent on the level of the person, the same way a level 70 can't invis a level 10 through the Feerrott.</p><p> Another easy solution to help out - get a 65+ conjy to sneak in, get to a safe place, and CotH you.  It works out nicely - I forgot to get the arasai book for mine before I betrayed her, so a friend helped me get it so I could go tiny.</p>

Anything 10 levels higher than you will see through invis. If you are grouped with someone to low for that requirement and it is a group invis you are all going to get beat up.

we're both lvl 70. the first mobs are 74. now it might have been changed, we tried it shortly after neriak was released, but we tried it with no diety pets up, both 70, both on the fastest mounts, and she group invised, took ten steps, getting about right between them, they aggroed she died, they came for me who was following about two steps behind.and while I wouldn't mind trying for the AA again, it also is still apparently a problem with the neriak zone causing unrecoverable errors going from one section to another. SO we'll probably try again once we can get our DE characters in neriak from one side of the zone to another without both of us getting these errors everytime we try to go form each area.
