Hi everyone, first of all this is NO Vista problem, as I run XP as OS <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />" />I have problems during each update process as the process stalls when a existing file is changed. Here a short part from the "Everrquest2Patch.txt" File:[13:06:08] Patcher: Downloading objects [dloadsize=72475; totalsize=255745; crc=266606171][13:06:08] Patcher: Downloaded Delta file for objects (dloadsize=36<img src="/eq2/images/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />" />[13:06:08] Patcher: Reading in delta data: E:SpieleSonyEverQuest IILegendsOfNorrathdatatutorialobjects_delta[13:06:08] Patcher: Removing delta data: E:SpieleSonyEverQuest IILegendsOfNorrathdatatutorialobjects_delta[13:06:08] Patcher: Combining delta data into E:SpieleSonyEverQuest IILegendsOfNorrathdatatutorialobjectsAt this point the Launchpad does not continue the update process. I can cancel the process, but I can't start it again. Moreover the whole Launchpad program can't be closed. I can't even cancel the process in the Windows taskmanager. All that I can do is shutdown the computer and start again. The update process has no problems with downloading and implementing new files. I can delete the files to be updated before starting Launchpad and the process works until the next existing file is reached.Anyone an explanation for this strange behavior of the update process? Of course a solution is even more appreciated! Thanks

European... Will try it thanks for your help. (By the way u were the only one who tried to help me the last time I posted this problem <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />" /> )Unfortunately this doesn't work. The US version starts updating and stalls with the same error...Other suggestions? It is really strange and annoying. I really like to continue playing EQ2 but without a chance to update, this might become a little tricky.

As official staff is meanwhile answering again (hope you are all allright...) I reply to my own old post. The problem is still there and I don't know how to fix it. All the information I can give you is included in this thread. EQ2 has become absolutely unusable for me. I tried to help myself with deleting every file that is included in a patch, so that it gets downloaded in a complete (non delta) form. But especially with patches being bigger (think of a GU <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ) this is totally unpracticable. Please think about how you could help me, otherwise I am forced to leave the game I really like to continue. Thank you all... (getting desperate)

Same problem here and my system specs are very similar to the OP.

@Lianah: Have you found a cure for it? I wanted to return to EQ2 after a break (including a full deinstallation) and bought RoK just to finde the same problems again...
