Isnt this spell supposed to hit in area of effect ?...each time i do a benefitial spell??I might be wrong...but this is what ive seen...( if im not wrong )If im fighting an encounter of say 2-3 mobs....I use my groupheals , and badum...loads of number shows up...one for each person that got healed. But if i only use a single target heal...it only hits one mob.

Correct me if im wrong...but shouldnt it be are of effect on both....at the moment it seems to only hit 1 mob witheither loads of number ( groupheal ) or one number ( groupheal )To me that isnt Area of effect.Ive tried and tried and tried...and it seems to be the same all the time.It should be hitting each mob in the ecounter on singeltarget heal...and on groupheal.

Again..correct me if im wrong pls...been confused about this for a while now.

It's an AE spell but only because it has a area of effect it doesn't hit all mobs in the Area but it has a chance to hit any mob in the area. It only pops off a single attack in the Area of effect for each beneficial spell.

IT'd be way overpowered AND you'd be left high and dry in a hurry if it hit everything within its range. I know someone who uses infusion religiously, and can parse numbers approaching and sometimes breaking 900dps with just infusion. Imagine if that was doubled, or quadrupled, and if there was someone feeding him a bit of mana. We'd be able to outheal every other healer and top the dps chart...soon thereafter can you say "nerf"?

See here. Infusion procs somewhere between 100-300, depending on your INT, for each beneficial effect. That means that a group effect in a full group will proc six times. It targets a random enemy within range, although I've noticed it tends to almost exclusively land on your current target if you have one. It is very power-intensive, and it can crit. Here's a recent example to demonstrate what Infusion can add when used properly.

Freethinker Hideout - [31] 5:11:24 PM | a D'Morte ransacker - [01:04] (10/25/2007) 5:36:01 PM | Sotanyavejin | Outgoing Damage
Type Damage Average Min Hit Max Hit Resist Hits CritHits Swings To Hit %All 146668 767.90 29 6963 All 191 79 202 94.55Starnova 27055 5411.00 3923 6963 heat 5 5 5 100.00Thunderbolt 26805 5361.00 4069 6801 magic 5 3 5 100.00Infusive Wrath 18929 420.64 231 578 magic 45 23 46 97.83Tempest 17313 641.22 467 1108 cold 27 10 27 100.00Killing Swarm 13444 448.13 270 671 divine 30 10 30 100.00Abomination Anihiliation 11994 1999.00 1477 2205 divine 6 5 6 100.00Dissonant Note 9265 617.67 347 776 mental 15 6 15 100.00Ro's Flames 6543 727.00 493 941 heat 9 7 9 100.00Ring of Fire's Flames 5894 294.70 235 393 heat 20 0 20 100.00Char 3194 638.80 433 903 heat 5 1 5 100.00Fae Fires 2970 495.00 495 495 heat 6 6 6 100.00Grizzfazzle's Rage 2175 725.00 618 912 heat 3 1 3 100.00crush 1087 72.47 29 135 crushing 15 2 25 60.00Infusion can seem imbalanced at face value. With good gear and skilled use, you can consistently put up Tier 2, Tier 3 DPS numbers. The caveat there is important: without extremely good power management, you will be constantly OOP. You need power proc gear, potions, totems, some Flowing Thought, regen in your group, and religious use of recovery items like Manastone and hearts/shards to take full advantage of Infusion and put up numbers like this. In my opinion this balances the ability and prevents it from being overpowered.(Sorry about the many edits, apparently the forum doesn't like tables.)

I just finished with a Halls of Seeing raid, and zonewide Infusion did 20% of my overall damage (second only to Thunderbolt at 24%). I landed #1 on the heal parse out of 7 healers, and did zonewide 703 dps. Not too bad, considering I turned off Infusion for a couple nameds (Elemental Warder because of Curse of Insanity, and Venekor).

It did get me killed once though. We were fighting a trash mob, and a walker was coming up. I didn't see him, and hit Hibernation.... critted 6 times on the walker. oops. That's just the risk you take, though.
