I have 2 7900s in SLI (Well SLI is disabled for EQ2). Lately I have been having graphics glitches and I believe it is my video card. My wife has the exact same setup and she has no problems whatsoever. Anyway, until I decide how and when to replace the card, I thought, "Hey, I have 2 cards in there, can't I just use the other one?" So, can anyone tell me how to do this? I know enough to be dangerous, and I am definitely not afraid to open up my PC. Basically, I want to disable 1 card specifically, and I would like to do this permanently. Thanks in advance!

Open case, take SLI cable from vid card, remove power cable from vid card, yank video card and put it in a box? Really the easiest way if you have something acting up. If that works well swap it with the card that's in the PC to make sure it's not a slot issue on the motherboard.

Upgrading drivers generally never hurts either.

I did say I wasn't afraid to open up the PC, I just don't want to. But I suppose you are right, that would definitely work. Thanks!OK device manager disable a video card, almost forgot to plug in my monitor to card #2.
