Hello picking a class on this game is more difficult then anything ive faced in any other game. I like the biggest numbers on my screen possible! I hate pets, hate scout classes (in this game). Does wizard or warlock do more single target big number hits (ignoring the class descriptions)? What I noticed while leveling my Fury is that I dont see wizards anywhere and it makes me wonder if all these new warlocks know something that I dont? Did they nerf the crap out of wizard or something because I see alot of new players on Ant Bayle, none of which are wizards. Any advice would be great thanks.

If you like big nukes go wizzy.

from a wizard who raids high end... i'd recommend making a wizard. while warlocks are definately a good dps class, they still strugle to keep up with the other high end dps. They are a great AoE dmg class and i'm sure you can have a lot of fun as a warlock, but wizards are still the ones with the big boom.

i have a wizzy myself.. not high lvl yet, but i thought about betraying to warlock. decided against it because as the previous poster said, wizzy still gets the bigger boom in the end, and that's what it is all about for me

Then you select the city faction to work on, this can even be the same city you just betrayed from. Once you have enough faction and become a citizen again, you will get an oppotunity to pick your sub-class. For neutral classes (sorcerers, druids, etc) you can pick either sub-class. Thus, a wizard can betray away from Qeynos, build faction back with Qeynos, become a citizen of Qeynos (again), then choose Warlock for sub-class.

I stand corrected. Thank you for the clarification!
