Just some topics that have bothered me as I go about my daily playing...

Crits vs + Crushing

Assuming we are fighting white or higher heroics and epics, what is the consensus on which is more valuable? For example, +1% crit or +5 crushing? About where would the tipping point be on that ratio?

Shake-Off

What other classes have a similar buff and what is the pecking order (assuming gear and levels are similar)? No tanks ever seems to want mine. I actually had one guy prefer his own + Agi over my buff which I have to assume was ludicrous. I understand our uncontested avoidance only works when we are in D stance and some classes have slightly higher uncontested avoidance as long as they have a shield, etc, so lets just assume two scenarios; 1) everyone has their big uncontested avoidance up or 2) everyone is in pure DPS mode with no uncontested avoidance from stance or shield.

I'm wondering the samething about Shake Off. This tank says he loses 500 avoidance with is only 2% when i throw this buff on him. Hm, 47 % using my 50% vs his measley 2% [Removed for Content]? Does this buff not do what the description says or what?

Sadly, most do not unerstand how the buff works. All fighters get a version of it. If they put their own on someone else, they get the meager ~2% benefit. The problem is that that benefit shows up on their persona sheet in the form of an avoidance boost, but if another fighter buffs them, they see no increase since there is no persona sheet spot for 'second chance' avoidance buffs. They work very well and provide a much greater benefit (effective 5-10% increase in aovidance depending on target's avodiance, your avoidance, and buff level).

I always ask for paladin version of "shake-off" while MTing, paladins got the best block skill in the game with AA.

When i tank epic mobs i use to avoid 65% to 70% of incoming attacks. Paladin's block represent +/- 14% of avoided attacks that's +/- 8% avoidance benefit (numeric value comes from ACT parse on different epic fights)

Every fighter class got a version of this spell and it's now raid-wide, actually block is the best uncontested avoidance and the best class for blocks are crusaders, so i never cast shake-off on a MT because MT can grab more benefit with a crusader buff. Btw shake-off gives us back an AGI boost so if you're MTing, every other class avoidance buff offer a best benefit than +Agi, specialy if you're far in the diminishing curve. If you are not MTing or off-tanking, agi boost is just useless so just help a healer/dps with a second-check but it's pretty useless when everyone knows is job.
