My friend and I are about to start playing. He is going Zerker and I was wondering what classes would go well with that. Just a note; I don't really like heavy nukers or pure healers.

try a warden or fury... or if you have a healer handy all the time, any caster is a good class, illusionists are definetly needed in t7 and t8 and the illy's power regen is the bomb...

if you guys dont have a healer handy, i think i would go with a warden, they have good offensive buffs and go well with a zerker.. as a pure healer you cant beat a templar though, and ive seen templars parse pretty good in the upper lvls when they have good gear.

For pure duoing, I'd say Warden. Nice combo in PvP too.If you think you can expand your group size, then I'd suggest Templar. They are very scalable and rock once you throw some more DPS into the group.Hope this helps.

In terms of just duoing:Well, a warden is basically a pure healer (as are the templars mentioned), which the OP was trying to avoid. Illusionist is decent (and not a pure nuker) but it's not really a good mix with an AOE heavy berserker. Yes, I know mezzes take mobs out of AOE, but that basically counteracts the effectiveness of each class in that duo.Fury might be a nice alternative to Warden. They are both druids but Furies have several decent nukes and can even kick out a respectable amount of melee damage with the right AAs (and recover power quickly while they do it). They are primarily healers, but they have plenty of stuff to do besides heal. A melee specced Inquisitor might also provide enough variety as, while being healers, they can diversify themselves enough be more than a pure healer.I'd also recommend a paladin. They are another tank class, but with their ability to transfer some of their mitigation as well as ward and heal, they provide some necessary reinforcement to Berserkers in order to tackle heroic content. For scouts, a dirge would do wonders for the Berserker as they specialize in buffing melee classes. They get some decent defensive abililties (like stoneskin) and if I'm not mistaken, can tap at least some health for the Berserker. I'm just not sure it's enough to make a huge difference if it's heroic content you are looking to tackle.Being a mitigation-based tank, it's very hard not to recommend a class that can do a fair amount of healing.

Fury for the win. They have one of the best single target melee DPS buffs in the game. (wardens give + slashing etc... fury give + haste + DPS... so wardens allow you to roll in defensive without penalty... fury allows you to crank the DPS)They have teleportsThey have group invis (wardens have evac)As a pair Zerker + Fury IMHO can't be beat... and my brothers who play Brother #1.) Assassin, Guardian, Warden, Dirge Brother #2.) Warlock, Swashbuckler, MysticStill log all their toons out when they level a new toon and go with my Zerker + Fury + new toon.... EVERY TIME I AM NOT ONLINE.When you have your choice of that many classes... and all 3 people pick the same Duo as the engine of the PL team... well... that says A LOT.
