ok, like the subject says, i recently got a double crit, or what SEEMED like a double crit on my ball of fire, while using the diety wrath of burning prince ability. i was lvl 25, and i was killing golems near the new tunaria zoneline in greater faydark. i rooted a lvl 22 crystaline golem, and then i hit wrath then ball of fire, and it was dead i was like COOL!!! i need to see how much dmg i hit it for!! so when i looked in my combat spam tab in my chat window, it said i had done 2000 some-odd damage in a critical, immediately followed by 8000 some-odd damage in a critical. and it was only one mob and one spell cast other than root. and this was also BEFORE i had the aa spent at the top of the KOS tree for the different aa buff pets, specifically the critical buff one. so i had maybe like a 1% chance of crit normally.

it just seems odd that i would double crit on one spell.

anyone else ran into this yet?

Wrath = if next spell is fire based you get a crit and wrath causes massive damage.Performing as advertised

Yup this is how it is designed, at level 70 on a fully raid debuffed mob Ball of lave with freehand and wraith will hit for 13-16k and a second nuke of around 60k, it is pretty sweet.

Only problem is that it is really an expensive spell, I computed that I could have sold for 30/40 gold to buy Wrath.Of course I can afford now, but I don't use it a lot in raid : I generally only use it when we're told "burn now".Today I almost made a mistake : I had fabled pants I don't use anymore, god offered 280 points, but seller offered 90 gold.Guess who I sold to ?Maybe I should use it more and farm to pay for it, but to be honest I don't feel like it, looks too much as a job, and I already have one in RL.

Yeah that wrath is sweety it`s like "power word-kill" from BG .Just killed white named with it (90% of his HP in one fire ball),normally he would smack me ....amazing

There is one question do is it works in PvP fights? If os it would be sooo overpowerd

and there is an aa line to turn IC to heat right?
As it was posted countless times before: NO, that won't work, because you can turn the damage type into fire one, but the spell is still cold-based.

I didn't know you could buy miracles?

So, you need to put 4 or 5 items that a npc vendor can buy from you. Giving fabled loot that sell for 90G bring that miracle a lot of money sink, don't you think? In that regard, you choose divine point or money. So, it's like buying miracle.Marie-Ange
ofc it works in pvp, but like everything else it has reduced damage.

If I really need to put stuff into the altar, I first go to vendor, and sell anything that is offered more than 15 golds.Anyway 60 K damage twice a raid, does not count much ! I would - if I were a soloer - use them to fast kill a named ! that's the way (with manaburn) that the best wizard soloer I know use them. Money is not a problem for him, and he's OK to spend gold or plat just to end some more quests. Just a question of choice as Marie-Ange said.
