Which CAs allow for running while shooting arrows? So far (lvl 31), the regular Ranged Combat is the only one. Everything else just gets interrupted.

I don't believe any of the archery CAs allow you to move and use them at the same time.

the backshot line does,as well as the pounce line. maybe more at higher levels, not sure of those, only 38.

Actually you can fire off a lot of em if you are crouched and walking. You are moving so slow that for some reason it doesn't disrupt the casting. Speaking of which, I need to check this out fully and bug it I guess. It struck me more as funny than as a problem. You don't gain anything from it that I can figure, it was more just a wow that worked factor.

Brega - 70 Ranger, Test Server

I mainly meant running backwards. Crouch walking won't do any good in that situation. :p

Selection (the stealth AoE) and Culling (the snare that only works from behind) are the only styles that can be used on the move anymore i think

Please don't bug it, cause it happens lots (especially when laggy) that you may accidently do a step while casting, or still move some when starting a cast. At least it happens often enough to me.

If you move forward a tiny step while casting a CA or spell you'll often finish the cast and it does depend on the distance. The same system was in EQ1 (which is why I think it is not a bug). The interrupt of knockbacks in eq1 was based on the distance you got moved, not an inherent interrupt, for example. So if you put your back into a corner you'd not be interrupted cause there was nowhere to be moved.

Yeah I played with it more last night. Anything taking longer than a sec or so to cast is still interrupted and I do think it is there as a "buffer" of sorts. I brought it up because I found it to be funny and it does look pretty hilarious when my ranger is all crouched down and trying to shoot a bow while walking like a duck.

Brega - 70 Ranger, Test Server
