I have been downloading the program using the launchpad for a 1 day. Came back from school found the play button up, I click it. It brought me into the game. So pick my character, all is good. Then................... "Everquest II has detected an unrecoverable error and must shutdown. <verify> E:liveeq2gameclientsrcGameScene.cpp (4058 ) : Failed to create zone. Suggestion: Please do a full scan from the patcher."First off, I don't have a E: drive... No, big deal I open up launch pad and let it scan... then to my dismay, it begins to download the game all over again.Do I have to wait another day to allow it to download again, Only to find out that I will get this message again?

I don't know lol. I did the trial and my gnome wizard is level 7. I was getting on a boat, and it said i needed the full version to go to the next spot. So I registered and purchased the game, took about a day but it downloaded fully. Went to press the Play button...... see aboveUpdate... so i'm letting the launchpad deal redownload it once more... but now it keeps not responding... and keeps cancelling the download? can I get my money back and go buy the game in a store?Starting to regret authorizing SOE to debit my c/c card for the game :S.I figured they would have contacted me or something to help me clear up this issue. But you seem the only one to post :*(

I have the same problem on a machine i used the installer on and downloaded all the files , it simply will not create the zone.

There is a couple of other related posts on missing geometry and people unable to create the zone after downloading all the files. looks like you need to use some disks then patch. Even then you may have problems, depending where and what disks you use..

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...19
