I have a wireless linksys router where I get my internet from the living room modem... Will this have any impact on my FPS? Should I get a modem, or is my wireless fine? I am on a desktop. Thanks! ^_^

It depends on numerious variables like signal strength, wireless security, etc. These all can affect your game. Unless you are talking about getting a dial up modem, then a model will not help. There should be a feed from your broadband modem into the Linksys wireless router already.

MY wife plays through a wireless N connection. The router is on the first floor and her PC is up on the 2nd floor shw gets about 90% signal strength up there and the only issue he has is sometimes a slow zoner and thats it

My husband and I play together off the same wifi and have no trouble. If the pipe is bigger than the stream you should be good, provided there are no other factors in operation (such as interference or bugs.)

Ah, OK. I was worried it would, since I get half the speed the computer in the living room gets.l
