Hi

I heard yesterday that ROK was going to become open beta today. I did everything I was suppose to according to the instructions. When I log in on the shortcut it says I don't have an account. What is going on? What am I doing wrong? When I check my account everything is checked off except DOF. Which I have had since the day of release. What is going wrong with that?

As well my daughter has figured out what my password is and what my user name is. Is there a way to change them?

Thanks

Areil

We'll need to clarify a couple of things first:1. You can log into your account for managment purposes but the same User Name & Password won't allow you to log into the game?2. What type of installation do you have? Trial? Digital Download? EQ2? EoF? In other words, how did you get your account status to where it's currently at?3. Where did you hear that RoK Beta was going Public? There is a bug with the display status of DoF on the account management screen so I wouldn't worry too much about that issue for the time being.Changing your User Name would require another account, which would require another cd-key but you can request a new password via the Account Management section.

Hi

Sorry this has taken so long to reply to, fires in California is affecting my family and I have phone duty. Any how I heard it from a friend and fellow guildie that constantly checks the forums and he said he saw it yesterday. He is in the beta but that is because of going Sony Fan Faire in Vegas. My friend also checked the forums for me this afternoon and saw the post had been removed. The only thing I saw was what was up today about Fan Faire so I tried doing it that way thinking maybe the forums just had not updated. I did exactly what the forums said to do, make a copy of the EQ2 folder, place in the Soe folder, download the zip folder and then extracted it to the copied EQ2 folder. But it just said I don't have an account. I know him and I were probably misinformed and it was some persons idea of a joke. If that is case when will it become open beta? Or how can I get in on the Beta, would love to try it out and hang out with my guildies?

Thanks For Your Time

Areil

P.S It would be really cool if next time players that have been part of the game for 3 years + and have active accounts if you could include us in the beta as a reward for playing for so long.
