Servers busy?

I have been attempting to login and I can't reach character select.  I run through all the server logins 1-8, until it finally says the servers are too busy try back again later.  Anyone else getting this?

Im getting the same thing. It seems to be different then whatwas happening yesterday when passwords/logins weren't functioning. This time I can log in to the forums and into EQ1 but not EQ2. Im wondering if the fires in San Diego Country are somehow involved.

I am not even getting that far. I click on my eq2 icon and get the SOE patcher thingy and it hangs at Connecting...I can't even get past that.
