Crafting workstations for the home

I seem to recall when the game came out that the status merchants sold crafting stations of variable quality - eg ones which only give crude finished products and, as one's status increased one could upgrade to a station which produces higher-quality items all the way up to a "pristine" crafting station.Is this still the case or has it been changed to a single level of station upon which one is able to produce pristine items?Hope you can understand this <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

You still can, you get them off the status merchants generally for some SP.

It was changed a while ago that only two types of crafting stations are available from the city merchants now.   The crude version is pretty much non-functional for crafting purposes; it's really more of a decorative item for people who want to place things like a larger stove & keg in their houses than the ones currently made by carpenters.  The pristine version is the only one left for actually crafting in your home.  The two middle types were removed in a previous game update.

dunno what they called, but they should show up as lvl 25 guild required (and more expensive), so you sohuld be able to tell which one is which.also, if your looking for a temporary solution... dont forget the tinker made protable temporary crafting stations

Never found the need to add teh stations to my house, already full of stuff from quests and items that my carpenter alt has made.

Add in one of the In-room mailboxes to mail supplies in with, and your Crafting-only toons never have to leave the house.I'd love to have one myself just to save the trip from where I craft and all the darn zoning just to place the item(s) in my house for a "real time" view rather than the Dressing room View, which doesn't really giveyou any idea of how big something is.
