whats the point of people with 70s twinking level 14s and 10s to kill newbs in the sunken city who wont have the money to buy this level 10 crab until their level 30? all these legendary and crafted items need a no trade or different level requirement to pvp with them equiipped

Welcome to PvP. Check out the myriad threads about it. There's guides, suggestions, and volunteers on both sides willing to take time to help a newbie get into PvP. If you want to spend the time & energy, the people are here to try to make it survivable until you get your feet under you. Take advantage of what's available, and chances are you'll enjoy the challenge. The level 10-20 PvP garbage that goes on is not what happens throughout the game. But until SOE decides to fix it, it's what everybody has to deal with for a short while.

Never gonna be able to implement something like that. What's to tell between someone who's had a 70 buy their gear, and somebody else who has 3 tradeskiller alts all in their 20's? Any more changes to the level restriction making it a narrower window to attack in will just hamstring any chance of somebody helping you out. Honestly, I think your best bet is to try to find one of the folks that volunteered to help new PvP players. Are you new to EQ2, as well? Just curious.

ya im new and ive made about 20 different characters now on different servers..the non pvp servers it seems pointless to play if everyones just out to farm items and on the pvp servers its fun until some idiot comes along and kills you in 2 hits while your still useing freeportian crusaders greatsword

Nothing these guys are wearing are things you can't obtain yourself..just so that is clear. Twinked out or not, it's available to you too, and without too much effort at level 14 to be honest. You are getting beat by someone with better gear than you. That will happen right up to level 70. So to answer your question..the point is..HERE..you have to A REASON to do quests and clear places to get named mobs and get your character gear upgrades and aa points, and take up crafting and harvesting to make upgrades, and level him up, all of which will make you stronger and more able to survive attacks. In the meantime, you have to learn tactics and strategys that will help you stay safe. Take the time to read people's advice (stickied above) and follow it. And not all people who kill you are twinks, infact most of them aren't..it's just people wanting to blame their deaths on something other than someone just straight up beating them. Take the situation in hand and do something about it..improve yourself and learn what you have to do to make those guys dead. It isn't easy street..it's a challenge...that's the whole idea.

Yeah if it's really full time griefing going on there..level past it is really about the best advice..and dont worry about the deaths you take right now because they don't mean anything. You dont lose anything...exp, fame, etc...so just shrug it off, move to another zone and keep on leveling. Move to areas that aren't camped much..sewers, off shore or off the path areas of zones, or exp in places where you can stay near a zone line. (or near instanced zones, which still count as zone lines) Remember Master 1 spells at lvl 14 add like 2 extra points of damage to a spell over the adept..so even basic gear upgrades DO help..as does any gear with a few resists. Just dont let it get to you..keep at it. It does start to get fun..trust me.
