Ok, I have the guard of thule shoulders, strongbear's shoulders and kos relic shoulders. Now I'm looking at all the stats and they seem so close to me that I can't decide which ones I should use. Someone got a suggestion?

Wish I had an answer for you, but I have terrible luck on drops it feels like. I have never seen Strongbears drop and have lost on every single KoS plate drop except the relic helm...which is worse than Hoo'Loh's

They are all indeed very equal. doesn't really matter which you use.

I'd agree.

But also as a suggestion, the doomrage spaulders in labs are fairly easily obtainable these days and are superior to all of those shoulders that you have listed. The effective 626 mitigation and str, sta, agi, hp,pow,poi/dis makes it pretty decent.

of the 3 i would say the guard of thule has the best mitigation, relic is the most rounded stat wise and strongbears is more of a DPS buffing armor piece.

i'm only guessing on the guard of thule though and going off of memory for that piece.

most doomrage pieces are better overall than most, but some of the doomrage pieces just plain suck like the legendary forearms for example.

I favour Strongbears because you can get a bonus for having 3 pieces and it's pretty easy to get 2 others.

Yea I've been using the strongbear's because the shoulders were my 3rd piece. I rolled on the guard of thuse hoping it would be an upgrade but the more I looked at the numbers the more I fell like I wasted that roll lol. I've been keeping an eye out for doomrage pieces but alas have never seen one drop. Think I'm going to trade the thule shoulders to my sk for when he makes 70.
Once your unbuffed mitigation gets over 4000 in offensive stance, you should wear whatever maximizes avoidance, hit points and attack, in that order. At 4000, your healer's buffs should get you well over the 4500ish mitigation softcap. You can also adorn those three shoulders with different adornments to give you added flexibilty.

I'm over 3500 mit self buffed with a 50.5% absorbtion rate and I put the 100+ hp adornment on my strongbear's shoulders.
