Just an interesting thing that I hadn't given thought to in all these years.

If Rescue increase's your position on the hate list, how come you don't "snap aggro" as soon as you cast it if your duo'ing?

I duo quite a bit with the wife for questing purposes, she plays a warden, and sometimes it seems like the mob just eats my rescue like a hot lunch. Doesn't happen often, and I have no real aggro management issues. So, where's my positional bump? If the hate list is 2 people long, and Rescue raises you 3 positions...doesn't the make me 1st on the list by default?

Anyways, found it an odd bit of thinking to toss out on this fine sunday afternoon.

Be safe all.

If it was, Mages and Rangers would never fear. As a Guardian, I have pulled mobs out of the middle of an entire raid force from max range.

If the root holds (Heroics/solos) there is no way other than bruiser aa drag combined with sonic fist that the mob comes to the tank. Root has to break OR you have to come into hitrange for you to get mob on yourself.

I've noticed I have to be not only in hit range, but also I have to be absolutely the closest one to the mob when it's rooted away from me. (Plant/Wall roots don't seem to affect mobs this way).
