Hi Folks,I`m roling a 70 Bruiser. My Equip is most likely KoS Legendary and a few parts are EoF Legendary, no fabled things so far (I´m not raiding, and please dont say I should cause I have no time for this). My Spells are a Mix of Master and Adept III.So my question is, can you give me tips on how i can hold aggro on multiple encounter. I.e. two or more groups of mobs or more than two targets I have to care of. I tried it a lot times, even when I`m switching through to taunt the Mobs, I`m not fighting with, sooner or later they`re gone and its going to be a mess for the Healer and the most often the mage. Is there a better strategy to hold aggro, or a good lineup for AA (At the moment I`m going with Crit, and the AoE, sorry forget the lines). Greetings Spark

Option A: Get Crane Flock and Pray.Option B: Designate someone else in the group the person to assist, and tab through mobs hitting them as hard as you can.Option C: There are no other options. Your two PBAE attacks + crane flock are all we get for open type AEs.

Ok thanks so far It seems that I just have to try harder The tipp with a swashie, i try it out, a friend of mine playes one, but i once groubed with a trouba and that time it was really easy to hold aggro. I think I have to find some Bards for my friendlist

I just flat out tell the guys I'm tanking for that I'm not so hot at dealing with group encounters and to deal with it. I'm AGI/INT specc'd, so I slap Altruism on the warlock and forget about it. Our PBAOEs and group taunts are enough to keep up with healing aggro, (and macroing intercede onto your healer before each pull doesn't hurt) and that's really all you need to be able to do. If someone is showing off, over-dpses and pulls a spare mob then I can normally get it back with Control Hate. Eventually. Once I've taken the opportunity to throw in a Kidney Punch.Brawlers simply don't have the tools to handle group mobs that other fighters (and STA-specc'd rogues) do. And that's fine. If the group you're with can't control themselves to deal with the difference then that is their issue, not yours.

There's a few things you can do to control adds in an encounter. First of all, have someone else in the group be the main assist, that way you can switch from target to target to taunt and do damage. Next, make a key for previous target, you do this under the keyboard options. This will allow you to swap back and forth between two targets. In a situation where you have more than one mob you should be able to focus your damage on the same mob the MA is on and swap over to throw a taunt on the add, assuming everyone is assisting the MA and noone is going bonkers with ae damage you should be able to keep the two of them on you. If you have more than two mobs you may need to tab through them. Tab is a little risky because it has an annoying tendancy to pick some mob on the other side of the room. But if you grab the camera angle and drag it overhead it should only target the mobs on your screen. Another thing you should do is get the EoF AA control hate, it is basicly another rescue on a 45 second timer when your tanking. Lastly, make sure your group understands that they need to curtail their ae's with you tanking, bruisers just don't have the ae abilities to keep agro if your group's dps is going heavy ae.

Raithan, 70 bruiser Venekor
