New Tradeskiller: Recipes missing

<p>Hi all,</p><p> Tried to start my Tradeskilling today but when I hailed the quest giver in Neriak he gave me the next step in the quest. But I have no recipes in my book. Are you supposed to get something to add recipes or no?</p><p>Thanks!</p>

Is there a scroll or book in your inventory you haven't scribed yet?

No I dont have anything but books or scrolls I've looted. I thought you are supposed to get something from teh quest giver. I even tried deleting teh quest and restarting it... no luck.

Do you still have the Beginning a Tradeskill Profession item?  (if you don't you can buy it again, it's very inexpensive)  You examine it, and then go speak with a wholesaler if my memory serves me.  After that you should have been given a recipe book to scribe.  If you've done all that and there are no recipes, ensure you've got nothing filtered accidentally, and do a /bug report.

<p>I used it to start the quest. When I didn't get teh recipes for the first quest from the quest giver, I deleted the quest all the way back to the starting quest item. Purchased a new starting quest item at the vendor next to the quest giver, because I had deleted my original starting quest item. Then I restarted the quest line over again.  Still no recipes fro the first quest from the quest giver.</p>

The first recipe is in the level 3 book, which he should have given you with that step of the quest.

If you MUST tradeskill and do the quest befor it's fixed you can buy the Essecials(not Advanced they are the "rare" recipie books) books from the tradeskill trainer outside the tradeskill area.
