<p>is there anyway to reset my profit on  characters without uninstalling as i have lost certain things and cant get them back but when i start new peep they are all there any help would be appreciated thanks</p>

this doesn't really belong here at the eq2 message boards, it belongs in the eq2interface forums, but to answer your question, do "/load_uisettings" and pick default.that should solve your problem.drago.

There's a /load_uisettings command that'll bring up the same settings-import menu you get when you start a new character. You can select which character's UI settings to load into the current character, including the set of defaults for various resolutions Profit provided (if you kept those files). Oh, and if you're arranging windows, F10 is your friend. It cycles between the normal HUD, a version with the backgrounds for most windows solid black, and no HUD elements at all. The black-background version is really useful for seeing windows and sizes while you're positioning things.Note that this also loads subscribed chat channels, since they're saved in the uisettings file. This can be a problem if the character whose settings you're importing subscribes to channels your current character doesn't have access to. You'll end up with "stuck" channels: you're sort-of in them so they occupy channel numbers, but you aren't in them completely so you can't unsubscribe from them. All you can do is use /setchannelnumber to move them to numbers that're out of your way. What I do to solve this is use one of my mule characters who's not subscribed to any chat channels at all to arrange my windows, then load my other characters' UI settings from him (or more often copy his uisettings file to ProfitTTK_1280x1024_uisettings.ini so it shows up as "1280x1024" on server ProfitTTK in the import list, the way the Profit defaults do).
