You just broke NDA, prepare for punishment from SoE. Edit: You bet that was NDA violation ,you can't post any info of RoK that has not been released by SoE. Previews and interviews are ofcourse legal info.

and this is a perfect example of why we have no one telling the devs what changes our class needs attention in, because we have noobs in beta testing....

And specifically why I don't bother beta testing anymore.

Beta slots mostly get given to people for registering with fileplanet accts or buying a magazine etc... a HUGE chunk of them.. then you have just the random invites by submitting your e-mail address... I mean they don't even ask you if you have gaming experiance on most of them anymore.

So I'm knowledgable I get into beta... I tell people what's broke or needs tweaking etc in an intelligent manner... but for what? I'm drowneded out by all the people who paid thier way into beta or were randomly selected... if I say that healers nuke too hard and they they are basically priests with 90% of the firepower of mages and therefore why would anyone play a mage? Well.. I get drowned out by the 99% of priests who respond back "we are not overpowered" because they plan on playing priests in release and they want an EDGE not BALANCE.

I will start beta testing again in the future when some company decides to take beta testing seriously... and that company is not SOE and was not Sigil either... nor was it Blizzard... Beta to these people anymore is nothing more than a joke. I don't think they even read the in game feedback comments and often the rip out the whole combat engine or something mere days before they release it.... um... as far as I know... that's like the complete opposite of what beta testing is supposed to be.

In other words... participating in beta knowledgeable or not is a complete waste of time in today's gaming world.

By the time games come to this level of "beta testing" now, they are 99% done, and the workload for the rest of it is already spelled out.Really, what they should be saying is they are stress testing it. They are putting a bunch of people in to see if they find some new exploit that hasn't been uncovered yet. The content is way past beta and is at the end of polish. But being in beta sounds better than being part of stress testing, so they use the term "beta".

i wish i could agree but there is a rather large amount of bugs that have been around for as long as i have been playing this game, some minor and others are still quite major issues.
