I think SOE should follow in EQ1's footsteps:  Allow people to disable adventuring experience, switching some to all experience gained to AA.I would prefer grinding and doing small quests (mass kill quests) with a group/friends in order to gain AA... I don't really like that I have to do discoveries and alllllll the long/tedious quests in order to gain AA.  SOE could make AA exp slower to scale it correctly with the rest of the game.I want to hear what the general pvp player base thinks of this.

Sorry, but I think it's a bad idea.  I like the AA system as it currently is, because it provides a motivation to go out and do those "long/tedious quests".  Yes, some of the quests are pretty tedious, but most of them are fun, and generally I'd prefer to work on those quests rather than to repeatedly do a quest to "kill 10 snakes" or to massacre the Centaur race just so Waylon March can buy groceries for his mom (or whatever the heck he's trying to do).If a person could grind AA, then it would work exactly the same as the current combat experience system.  You might as well take AA experience out at that point and just award AA points at certain intervals of earning combat experience instead.  That doesn't appeal to me.Additionally, awarding AA as combat experience would actually be a demotivator for those people who do want to try to do all the quests, go to all the dungeons, and kill all the nameds.  I think it would suck to put a lot of time into your character doing lots of quests and killing lots of nameds (basically exploring all aspects of the game) while other people can just repeatedly kill stuff over and over and gain as much or more AA.  If I were that person, then I would think "Why the heck did I even bother to do all these quests?"  I don't want people to have a quick and easy path to gaining AA, because it cheapens their value.

It's called "get to 70 and watch your adventure XP get turned into achievement XP"!<img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Just giving the level-lockers a hard time. To give a real response though, I don't think it's a good idea. Besides there are enough quests in this game that  give adequate AA XP for even a lowbie to get a decent amount of AA's without tryig too hard. So I say it's fine as-is.
