Lvl 40 wizzy questions

i'd say get crafted armor and pick up legendary/fabled armor as you lvl up... stats are > resists at the lower levels i think... as for dieties.. not sure.. i'd say start with sol ro, but if youre looking for the initial quests for xp.. i have no idea.. you can go to eq2.wikia.com and look up the individual dieties.. see which ones look easier and have the most quests within your lvl range. you can always start dieties and then renounce them and start other ones for more xp. not a bad idea there =)

Really for the wixxy, Sol Ro is the only sensable choice.  The spells you gain at the alter are designed to enhance you own, and the +28 int gained from the imp makes a big difference.

I just did the first 2 Sol Ro quests at lvl 32. First one is around lvl 25 and second one 35, after that there are 2 more but i believe they are around lvl 55 and 60ish.

All pristine parts of them are 40 required AND have +22 to ALL Resists and +11 INT with +15 Power and Health.Think ill get ya a link to my profile to show what i got currently. Also dont worry bout the jewelery im wearing due to i had some guildies help while in DFC (deathfist citadel) get some of those pieces. and pretty much was fun cause i was only one who could use as a BIG UPGRADE.But Deity id say Sol Ro ftw. since i am to follow em soon nuff and its tradition since Everquest itself for all wizzys to follow the Burning Prince ^_^

My main is a 70 wizard and she worships Tunare. I hate people who tell me I have to do Sol Ro because I'm a Wizard. I'm a high elf too and I like Tunare because I identify more with her. I get some pretty cool miracles that allow me to heal and stuff too which is pretty awesome. I agree sol ro "makes sence" but that doesn't mean its the only way to go. My guild actually thanked me for doing Tunare when I healed everyone at a raid with my miracle so don't just do Sol Ro becuase "thats what wizards are supposed to do".

Also dont worry bout the jewelery im wearing due to i had some guildies help while in DFC (deathfist citadel) get some of those pieces. and pretty much was fun cause i was only one who could use as a BIG UPGRADE.But Deity id say Sol Ro ftw. since i am to follow em soon nuff and its tradition since Everquest itself for all wizzys to follow the Burning Prince ^_^</blockquote>i used to think the cloth with only +int on it was great for casters, but i am finding that if i get the stuff with a little less +int on it but also adds +sta instead, that i have a MUCh easier time soloing, and i can take a few hits in groups before the tank peels it off me. i cant stress how much the +sta helps us sorcerers who tend to gank agro easy. for a pet class like a necro or conjy, its a different story. as long as you have adept 3 tank pet and adept 3 or master2 of your pet defensive buff, you should not get hit if you pull within your limits. and since you dont get hit, you can sacrifice the extra stamina for the +int on those tranquil pieces you mentioned.

Heck thats a dang good class/deity combo there.. for wizards = more protection.. due to the type of lines of alter buffs / shields it gives which technically thats all there are... HP buffs and shield of various sorts.. pretty much my main if lucky is gonig to make the conversion to the Tranquil just for that
