Does anyone know how the 'limited pet' on this sword aids the caster? It certainly does not do any damage.

(Oh, and SOE....I find it odd that you think it's reasonable to charge extra to check the stats on items in your game from eq2players.com. That's so not going to happen)

http://eq2.allakhazam.com/db/item.h...l?eq2item=22404

on succesful melee attacks it will summon it, if you look at the damage numbers being done it will be a light orange instead of dark orange/brown (if you use default) it does do damage but only about 128-300 ish when it hits, and it isent very accurate but it also manages to break stealth EVERY attempt to attack, be it miss or hit oh and if your checking using ACT, it wont track it, no limited pets get tracked on ACT ive found

Yep, that pet suffers the same thing that makes all pets essentially useless for most scouts (mainly preds)... it uses a string of code that has no place in the game. Pets break stealth with each attempted attack regardless of the fact that stealth serves no purpose in combat (doesn't prevent you from getting hit or make the mob drop target) than to set up attacks.

Yay for useless strings of code!
