Obviously I'm not a fan of this blessing as a coercer, but wanted to get some feedback. Is 1 minute too much when I'm dead in 5 seconds. Honestly, I think I might be the only class that completely gets owned by this blessing, so guess it's not a big deal.

BristlebaneMischief Maker: Dispels Stun, Mesmerize, Root, Fear, Stifle, and Daze effects on caster, and makes caster immune to those effects for 1 minute.

It is what it is.. I'll deal with it with the "revive", just curious what others think. Scouts are using this on me every fight is seems.

I agree with you. That is totally insane. Its a guaranteed "i win" against your class and many other classes. This coupled with the other rediculous bristlebane miracle-the one that stops you dying makes close one v ones a joke. In the past miracles have been strongly frowned upon and at one blessed point no one used them <bar the likes of Fingerzz> for fear of ridicule. What changed?? Now everyone has those blasted fame cows and doesnt think twice about using them...hmmmm..so what changed. I for for one dont use miracles and havent used one for a very very long time. Should i do so now that everyones using them and i really need to to have a chance. No..i wont..i just hope soe and the populace wakes up to themselves. Soe by changing fame loss on death and the populace by stopping using lame miracles. That is all...

Galoro Nagafen

Well, illusionists too. Anyone who use that against a chanter, will win. Heck, I bet it's an "I win" button against a lot of other classes too, basically any class that needs to use control effects. I still think is weird that use of god abilities is allowed in PvP, they weren't designed for that...

This blessing would be a healers god send !!!! No more standing there watching your group die in 20 seconds.

I have not used this miricle you speak of but it seems to be benificial against one class so I doubt I would use it. As far as mircles, I do not feel that Bristlebane is any more overpowered than any others. I would not mind them making them non-pvp only or at least make the chance of failure of a miricle (looks at my god quietly) increase in pvp but people have been using them before and will after. I agree that more people are using them now than after they first came out but I have seen a shift of players and so a shift in thought. I would suggest using potions and saving the miricles for raids personally.

If people are using them against you exur, I would consider it a compliment that you are so dangerous and difficult to kill sitll, I do feel it is targeted mostly against your class even though I dobut that was the intention. Take heart, it can only be used once an hour be strong and know you are better at pvp then those that feel the need to use miricles.

And the bristebane cloak kind of sucks in comparison to marrs IMO. I do not like uncertainty and why would I wish to randomly have anti-agro when I am tanking or be big when I am trying to hide or small when I am trying to see beyond the X4 I am with. Take the good with the bad.

Sochi

PS> I always reserve the right to change my mind about any opinion or anything I write at a later time without prior notice.

Anyone who can't beat a coercer (other than Exur) should just quit. But that miracle is just the icing on the cake for killing 2 particular classes.

I want a miracle available that prevent healing, evac, taunts, ranged attacks, HT's, LoH's, knockbacks. That's a bit melodramitic and I know there are AA's that do prevent some attacks too.

There is no immunity to mezz. There is no pot you can carry around for mezz. Now that there's something that gives you a shot against it, cry about it much?Or... melee classes that rely on being in melee range that can be ported away, then stunned, then stifled, then rooted, then feared... effectively never getting into melee range, then when they do, if they're against the most OP class in the game atm, they dps a bit... and oop, null mail! It's a ONCE an hour cast. It's used in situations where someone who has no shot otherwise has one. For a ONCE an hour cast time, I don't see a huge reason to whine. Now, the 30 second ae stun that Bristlebane gives needs to be retouched... make it curable. Otherwise, you can drop it, kill someone, and run away, before the rest of their group breaks the stun. It can't be cured with ANYTHING.

Firstly, ur opening sentence is wrong. Mezz does carry an immunity timer.

Secondly, you start about Mezz, then go off on one about warlocks.

Thirdly, you need something to 'give you a shot' against mez?. wow, just wow. Do you realise that you can't take any damage while mezzed? Do you realise that without mezz the point of having a coercer in-group drops significantly?

Do you also realize that mezz is beyond easy to counter if you have more than 3 braincells?

And who are these people that have 'no shot otherwise'?

ALL god blessings/miracles need to be disabled when engaged in PVP combat period. The arena is lame but at least god abilities are disabled there.

If you can't use this is PVP combat why the hell are you allowed to use deity abilities. SOE needs to rethink a few things IMO

Dhye
