OK.  Now that we have the appearance tab I am seriously looking for something to make my ranger look AWSOME.Since I hate the 62 MC chain (especially when I had a mix of the INT and STA gear, red and purple uggg).  So I was using my 52 MC gear on the appearance tab, as it looks way better.Well I am now using the Hoo'loh hat on my appearance tab (like the cowl look), and it doesnt really match the armor.Last night I took all the armor off my appearance tab to see what the Max STR/DPS gear I have been aquiring actually looks like.  WHAT A MESS!!!Can anyone give me some ideas?  I like the look of the Quellithulian Assassin's set from vaults (looks almost like a silver version of the fabled set for rangers) but I j just checked the broker and would run me about 6 - 8 plat for a set of appearance armor.  NOT GONNA HAPPEN.I am a male high elf ranger btw.can anyone post some pics and list what gear they are wearing on the appearance tab? Thanks in advance.

<p>t2 mastercrafted leather (if i remember correctly tier), it looked most rangerish for me, go to qeynos harbor and near the bank is woodworker tables with npc wearing that set if you want nice 3D picture of it. It is dark green and looks like designed to blend with the forests. Imho it looks best with nemesis hood but should look good with hooloh hat too</p><p>Edited some spelling</p>

<p>My ranger is actually wearing almost all green armor minus his hands and his arms. But, I do have my nemesis gloves in my appearance slot to cover up my god ugly darkened gauntlets. I have been trying to get my hands on a piece of relic chain arms only to cover up my mantle of recoil (the brownish tint so throws off all my green).</p><p>So yeah, I am going for full green chain... just seems out doorsie and rangerish to me. None of that chain that looks like leather junk (*cough* our aq armor *cough*) for me.</p>

<p>dont forget to check the npc armoursmith vendors with various lvl toons since the npc sold armour look nothing like the same playercrafted armour. pristine forged fulginate chain armour looks nothing like the fulginate chain armour the armour smiths sell. haven't quite found a good chain for rangers yet but using a brigandine looking silver/brown colour set that has a earth and old leafs touch gonna check what the set is called once i got home. it is quite nice and match alot of the floors in most dungeons <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />" width="15" height="15" />.</p><p>note: since the armour is sold defined by the lvl of your toons you wont find the same armour with a 20 toon as a 70 toon.</p>

Blackened (SP?) Iron Chain is lvl 30 armor that has no stats and drops in RE, as far as I know.  It is a nice black chain, and matches very well with Xegonite armor.

The armor that drops in EL off of the lamias on the coast is really nice ranger gear as well. It is called Enchanted Thicket Armor I believe. It is green and looks really cool.

There's a plate look that doesn't look half bad.  Is anyone wearing the status armor from the Tunarian Alliance?

There is as previous poster states armour that looks like plate that rangers can wear. the Mithaniel Marr "Armour" that you can buy after completed the bloodlines quest series does have a plate look and the armour is tagged as cloth but still has a plate look. the boots and shoulders have a different plate look from the rest of the armour so it looks kinda of funny.

Tier3 Mastercrafted (Cuirboli Leather) also looks more like something we would wear (see my signature for a partial screenshot.) It actually looks like creased, oiled leather, with stitches, one of the most realistic looking armors in game (my opinion of course.) Just another option for you all to try if you wish <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/49869fe8223507d7223db3451e5321aa.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />Edit: Lately I've also been wearing the full set of armor from the Tier 3 armor quests (Ian's Forgetful Family.) It's not nearly as impressive looking as Kithicor, but unlike Kithicor, you can get the full set without having to spend countless hours in Unrest, the Catacombs and MMC. And it actually does look like something a Ranger might wear. As noted earlier, just my opinion.

The rest looks like the T3 Cuirboli Leather.

Search for leather under level 20 and use the view function, and you will see several options that will make you look like a lot of the Greenhoods (Dancer, for instance) or the green-clad folks underneath Arbos in Elddar Grove.  One type Cordovan has the same look IIRC and so does T2 regular crafted leather.  I just don't recall if its tailored tanned, tailored woven, or whatever.  But I do know its T2.  Some of the best looking ranger armor in game IMO and its wearable/viewable from level 20-70.

My ranger is decked out in Steppes Bear Leather.  Its blue and grey, and looks killer on my blue skinned DE.

I like the looks of the ranger armor, from the AQ. Looked horribly when I first did it, but with updates it suites a ranger much better, has a nice green and brown look. Its called Highland Stalker.

<p>Here's some Tunarian armor, i thought was very Rangerish. You do have to have 20k plus faction with the Tunaian Alliance in Qeynos to get it though.</p><p><img src="http://eq2images.station.sony.com/000/001/519/021.JPG" alt="" width="960" height="768" border="0" /></p>

The wis sta stuff. Cant remeber the name is green. Looks like cloth...wierd had lol</p><p>Theres a red and white set but I cant remember its name.
