Power Regin Totems Canceling on death?

<p>Are power regin totems supposed to cancel when you die?</p><p>I was in Labs last night and noticed that I was having power issues, usually just drink will work ok and get my power back after fights, but it wasn't so I used a beholder totem just before a fight.  Well dumb ranger that I am, ended up pulling agro and mob killed me.  No big deal, I get rezed start buffing again and notice that my icon for the beholder totem was not displayed.  </p><p>I don't have a UI that displays my power regin so I could not check that, but I could have sworn that those totems were being used up before the 30 minute duration.  I wasn't paying that close of attention through the full raid to see if it was happening often or not, but will make notes next time.  I basically just wanted to know if this is something that I should bug if it happens again or if its actually how this is suppose to work.   </p><p>I don't use health regin totems so cant say if they were doing the same thing or not.  </p>

never tested it but it would make sense if they do. Totems are buffs and all buffs/debuffs that are not constant effects from your gear are canceled when you die.

Ah, it's been forever, but I *think* they were changed ages ago to be persistent after death, like food./goes to search the Game Updates forum.

<p>they were changed to not drop the effects like a year and a half ago, but it seems to be randomly happening now, i haven't been able to figure out if it's just wearing off or if it is actually dropping when i die since sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't...</p><p>it seems to drop on t5+ totems more...</p>
