View Full Version : Bruiser Advice (Regarding AA's)

Hello.

I've only recently started my Bruiser, and he's currently level 19. So far, I've spent 8 points in STR line, for the +Strength. I'm using two fist weapons, and have a legendary fist with Vampiric adornment & mastercrafted fist waiting for me at 22, which is why I haven't (yet, atleast) gone deeper in the Strength AA line. Anyway, this was my plan for AA's, I'm just wondering what your opinions are as more experienced Bruisers regarding my choice of AA's.

My current plan is to keep the 8 Strength, and start on the Agility line, increasing my Agility and possibly going 8-8. By the time I have obtained these 8-16 more AA points, I'd be around 30, which is almost the level for the next tier of mastercrafted weapons. Now, the thing is, I'm not sure if from here on, I should spec in the Int line for use of fist weapons, or discontinue using any weapons at all, and continue down the Strength line. Before you advise me on this, please note that this character is made purely for soloing, so any AA's will be based off soloing.

Thanks in advance.

To be honest, I think you're putting more focus on the +stat AAs than they deserve. For soloing, I'm still of the opinion that a Str/Int build is best.. so once you've got your 8 pts in Agility, I would respect 4/4/8 Str and go unarmed.

Sorry Noob here. What do you mean 'Full Int Line'?Thanks
lareldar wrote:
What do you mean 'Full Int Line'?
"Full Int Line" generally means putting enough points into the INT line to get the end ability. Traditionally, this would go something like 4-4-8-6-2.(As the first two tier abilities aren't very good, so you'd want to put the minimum amount in them to move on to the next tier).

Lv 29 bruiser here (that is my highest level, been playing eq2 for 2 mos)

From what I have heard and saw here on the forums isn't int/wis the best? I would think that full int and 8 in str would be good if you want to continue to use weapons, which I know I do as they add some nice stats.

What is considered the best build for Solo?
