Since http://pc.ign.com/articles/825/8253...00&RSSid=825372 is noting a nice bonus for uppin AA to 70/70 I figured I'd speculate what "the" or similar DPS build is going to be. Opinions welcome.

100 AA (50/50) -> Launch day spec 100 AA (70/30) with:

Familiar: 1pt

Str: 4/4/4/8 20pts

Agi: 4/4/6/8/2 24pts

Wis: 4/7/4/8/2 25pts

Although, with this much juice and all the nice proccing toys many wizzys have and will be finding in ROK I can imagine the Int line may sneak into the rotation but probably after the caps go (100/100) or the like.

Edited for "Familiar-addendum"

You need a point in the familiar to open up the rest of the KoS AA tree.

I was thinking more like current DPS : Ice-Fire build + some Manaburnin luvin...As to AGI-WIS, only need the crits from STR line imo.. STA and INT are still useless, unless they add up another 50AA in each tree...

If 140 is the correct value after ROK and it goes 70/70, I'd think

STR 4/4/4/8

AGI 4/4/4/8

WIS 4/8/4/8/1

would be the best. 20+20+25 plus 1 for pet would leave you 4 points to put into INT or anything else. 12 percent spell haste, 12 percent crit, and 12 percent power savings.

Dont know about you , but I like to cast Ice Nova as often as possible.

This is pretty much agreed upon as a receipe for DPS output:

Reducing Casting timers - Important

Reducing Recast time - Important

Reducing Power Consumption - Important

Increasing Base Spell Damage - Important

Increasing Crit % - Important

I personally expect an incoming nerf ~4 months after Nov as KOS/EOF Wizzy builds will be the one outlined here + Fire/Ice/Manaburn -

Unless of course the 77-80 mobs have been given the proper anti-farming wizzy algorithm to prevent wholesale 1 and 2 shotting:

if

player-> class = wizard

then

mob hps = mob hps x 5

mobs melee dps = mobs melee dps x 5

I can see some Ward of Sages and some Greater Shielding get some AA's as well...Reason is :The ward of sages do also benefit from +heal from items...
