Is it not running at all or just experiencing issues?

Would suggest that you download soemthing like the iso of memtest86, burn it to a cd and run it for abour 12 hours to see what errors pop up. If the issue started when you installed the memory, the likely culprit is the memory.

I agree. Possibly bad memory. Try running Memtest86 on the memory overnight.

- possible hardware error in memory (test the memory with memtest)- 32bit OS and 4gig ram isnt the best thing, check M$ KB on how to use more then 2gig on a 32bit OS, this could cause your problem if you did not do this.- Best would be installing 64bit OS, setting memory flag in everquest2.exe so it can use more then 2gig and it runs much smoother anyway that it could with 32bit OS

Do you have a URL for M$ KB?

I really don't want to go to VISTA -- I don't think it is ready for prime time yet. And doesn't EQ2 have issues with Vista?

You tested it one memory stick at a time?

i had not a single problem yet with vista64, neither with eq2 nor with any other game that was not a general problem with the game (i have xp install too to test such things)beside that no link at hand and dont want to start searching for it now If you dont know that article yet and how to enable it i recommend u look into your actual display of how much RAM windows has, im pretty sure u even cant use the 2 more gigs and they are not displayed if you didnt enabled them in windows.
