Cannot play the game?

<p>Greetings all,</p><p>   As a new member of this game,when I creat a character in game,it pops up a window said:"There was an error that prohibited the server from letting you play." What is going on with this?Has anyone encouter it?</p><p>What should I do?</p><p>Appreciating your help.</p>

You might be one of the weird few who has a graphics card that doesn't like EQ2.  It may mean you have to DL some drivers or reset something, but best to be safe than sorry.  </p><p>If this doesn't work the CSR_Tech people may ask for some pretty specific information which is very easy to get.  <a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=353617" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Here's </a>a link to a post where you can get information on how to generate a diagnostic readout.  You'll just need to copy and past this information into the post.  After that the CSR_Tech people can look it over seeing what maybe the cause. </p>
