Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes. How about a new rank of ownership is added to housing? I want to move my alt in with my main into a 2 room, but I don't want to have to right click the door, find my main's name, and click on that just to visit the home. With Co-Ownership you would have the Co-Owner actually move into the house, with a moving crate. I don't want to get a "Buy Now!" button every time I want in. I really can't see any cons to this idea, would just make a few people happy.

It would be cool, but there are certainly lots of potential issues. Owners of a house always have the ability to either pick up (non-soulbound) or destroy any items in their house. Having 2 people with that ability could cause all sorts of CS problems if the 2 owners had a disagreement and one decided to take/destroy items. And then there's the issue of wanting to end co-ownership (who gets the house?!) or one person trying to move out without closing down the existing house... However, having shared a house with a friend, co-ownership would have been very useful.

Instead of that, I would rather make these changes:

If I own the house, clicking on the door should cause me to Enter my home. I hate having to right click and select Enter. Why should the default action for clicking on the door be to pay my rent, when I only do that once every four weeks? The default action should be the one that is done most frequently.

If I don't own a home at the door, the default action should be Visit, instead of the window for buying the home. Most often, when I click on a door, it's going to be to visit someone there, not to move into a new place.

Also (and most importantly), when the Visit window comes up, it should be presorted to show a list of characters at that address that are also in my friends list or that are in my current character's guild, not some truncated, useless list of random folks I don't know. This way, I can just add my alts to my friends list or join them to the same guild as my current character, and they'll show up in the list by default instead of me having to type in their name and search for them. This would also come in handy for visiting the homes of guildies and other friends.

I agree to that, the first option on a house should be visit (unless it's your own house). It give us the buy window and 99% of the time, we don't click to buy obiviously. For the list, I would list the folks living there in alphebetical order or something please. The list seems random and with no sens. Some house are listed even when the owner didn't pay the upkeep for years. Huh?Edit: Oh, in SWG we had the option to had a full guild to our house, let's say I write 'guild name' visitor access, ALL the guild members could enter. Very nice option. Does it work in EQ? I don't think we have this.

Im not sure what the complaint is here. Are you sure you havnt accidently selected another tab (as the last tab you have open when you close the window becomes the default open tab next time).

If you own a home, keep the interface as is.

If you do not own a home at that location, but you are trustee to that location, you should recieve the same window as if you did own the home (so that "Enter" and "Pay Rent" are default).

If you do not own a home at that location, and you do not have trustee access to a home at that location, "Visit" should be the default bringing up the filter/list for all characters' residing in that location. As well, should this be the case, the "Tour" feature should be merged to this window as well.

Ultimately, this would leave only 2 options upon right clicking (Access - it is your personal home or you are a trustee, and Visit - allowing you to view other players' homes or an empty version of the home).

I do agree that having your friends/guild members on some type of filtering system for the "Visit" tab would be really nice too, but it should be a type of filter you can turn on/off at will and not a default or a system to itself.
