Ok, so the idea is to post all of your AA specs here and what purpose you have them for (Soloing, Grouping, Raiding etc). I just got tired of seeing every second post on here being someone asking about AAs, so hopefully they should be able to just glance over here and see what the best spec would be for whatever they're doing. If we get enough people to post we can perhaps get this stickied and reduce the AA question spam. Just post what you use your SK for mostly, and then the AAs you use to do it most efficiently.I'll get it started, then.Raiding is my primary focus for my AAs, although I also do some soloing/duoing when not raiding.KoS448 INT for the spell crits ( highest source of dps and aggro, almost a must have)48821 STR ( for the spell haste end ability, makes for the biggest dps increase after spell crits and the more dps you do, the more useful you are on a raid, not to mention the faster the mob drops, the less it can hit you)441 STA ( filler points for a lack of putting them somewhere better, the Hammer Ground ability helps while soloing I guess, and the 2.8% melee crit isn't bad)EoF5 in Grim Strike Proc chance ( More DPS ofc )All of the recast time reducers except Mana Sieve ( More DPS and the Tap Veins reducer helps while soloing and in an AE heavy raid zone. Consume Vitae also helps while raiding. )5 in Grave Blessing ( Helps with soloing and when tanking with the 35% extra heal)Reaver end ability ( Helps with soloing and recovering from a hard AE on a raid when healers are preoccupied)5 in Doom Aura ( Extra DPS and shorter recast, making a fairly weak AE alot stronger)All of Hate line down to Siphon Hate ( For extra hate while tanking ofc, and the Death March recast reduction is sweet)

Awesome... thank you!

I agree with other posts on this issue it is about your unique choices that make you different ... however, I think it is important to see what others are doing and to learn and ultimately we are the ones that "click the box" ... thank you for sharing Dead ... I'm not far different, i have however 5 points in the hammer-stun, because that gives you exactly the stun time you need to cast tap veins, and i habe also 5 points in Coil in the reaver line. I have nothing in Doom Aura, since it wasn't really worth it before the 53 upgrade.

Well , my current AA set up isn't permanent yet as I'm still playing with what I like versus "wasted points" in abilites I don't use too often.

KOS

7-8-8-0-2 INT for increased intel (more intel is harder hitting spells), maxxed out Legionaire Strike (easy 1000hp, fast recasting spell nuke), maxed otu crit damage for spells (since most of our damage comes from spells) and picked up the refect ability. Thats more for unused points and a neat title. The reflect is great in some instances but isn't a real life saver by any means.

6-8-8-0-2 STR for improved strength (not totally wasted, but better spent here then hate gain...Even with maxxed out hate gain in EoF and maxxed hate gain here, I still manage to loose aggro and blow a "rescue" ability like death march or rescue so why bother with wasted AA points). 8 Idolic Axe for short burst of haste and a decent direct melee dmg attack (this ability is vicious when combined with Death March) 8 in haste...isn't much but mostly filler so that I can get the 10% reduced reuse timers. Just makes my abilites refresh that much faster so that means more damge output.

EOF

I went right down the middle and maxxed out the first 4 in reaver line and picked up reaver. SK's excel at tapping back their life so it almost seems like a no brainer to get this end ability, just makes us better at doing what we do. I Intend to max out the tap veins reuse timer AA since I just use it so often and it's a real butt saver at times. I used to be hate specced but pulled out of it for the reasons above and have instead opted to try the pools line. Maxxing out disease reduction for our group taunt (since most of our spells are disease based anyway just means more damage over all for those spells). Maxxed out the wisdom reduction again lowering resistances pushes your damage output further. Maxxed out the stamina tap to our str tap. That spell will now basically do damage to an opponent without me even touching them. Subtract stamina and you take away their life (again just seems to be what an SK is all about). Maxxed out Doom Aura to just make it pop back faster (this combined with the 10% lowered reuse timers makes that 700+ AoE nuke recastable in a little over a minute). And just for kicks I picked up the pools of blood to see if I like it or not since I already had the points spent in the line for it. I'll probably dump the extra points into depoil reuse timer since that's a nice little melee debuff.

Starter AA...then 84481 STA (maximize HP, hammer ground for heroics/heroics linked to epics, bitta melee crits, and Divine Aura for emergency saves). INT 448. Extra points shuffled around a bit. Currently in AGI stats for extra 1.8% contested avoid (was doing a few tests to pump my avoid of all types for a bit)...likely to switch to Idylic Axe or additional melee crits though....whenever I get around to it <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" /> . Basically those are filler points.

EoF I'm full in every Hate related bubble including Syphon Hate (with the exception of 2 points only in Rescue, for a 1 rank increase). Reaver I'm down to full Touch through Coil (for a little emergency heal 1350hp). Full up in Blessing (good all around heal/dammage/aggro). Decay, I'm down to full Syphon Armament, through feign. I like the disease resist reduction (dammage/aggro), faster recast FD for emergency measure, and the extra Mit. Lets me run in offensive, while still maintaining a healthy shot into the steeper part of the mit dim return curve.
