Prestine Quality

<p>Was it my imagination that pristine quality armour used to raise the stats slightly to what it showed in the recipe.  I don't mean the general stats like mit etc., I mean the things like str, agi, wis.</p><p>Perhaps I was just dreaming or wishful thinking.  <img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/2786c5c8e1a8be796fb2f726cca5a0fe.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" /></p>

<p>It used to be that making armour to non-pristine lowered the stats a little but also lowered the level you had to be to equip the item.</p><p>This was changed in a GU a while back to the system we have now.</p>

The only way to see the Pristine version was to make one, then you could right click the fourth box in the Examine display for that recipe and see it. With the upcoming change of "Pristine or nothing" crafting, they seem to have prepped for it by making the examine from recipe book reflect the pristine output since shaped will soon be a distant memory and no longer obtainable.
