View Full Version : PVP AA INT or Energy VORTEX First

<p>Ok ive checked and havent found what I am looking for. Please give me your advice based on the current state of the game and solo play for my 26 Fury! I have 34 AA's. My question is would it be better to max out the energy line for energy vortex first or hit the Int line for Max crits. I am using 8 aa's for the peerless predator line for max runspeed and I plan to keep them there. I have combat xp disabled and it will be a while before I get starburst so I am basiccally wasting 5 points in that to get the end ability! I have actually tried both the max int crits and currently the energy vortex line. I cant seem to identify which is going to give me more survivability. I generally run solo and I rarely get attacked by solo players unless they are another fury. So in general Im taking groups of two or more pvpr's. Im not level locking but trying to maximize my AA by questing and killing named. Could a seasoned PVP fury give me advice based on my current level and why you think one would be more beneficial then the other!</p><p>Thanks for the help!</p>

<p>I am in a similar situation to the OP so I am looking forward to some replies.</p><p>My fury is lev 23 with 30 aa's.  Currently I have Vortex and I am liking it for opening shots.  I leave it up for some battles depending on how things are going.</p><p>I have 5 points in the Root enhancement.  It's hard to tell how well this is working TBH, PVE roots still break ALOT, I know this is likely due to two dot's ticking.  But it seems to break far too easy considering I have the root at M1 and 5 points in the AA.  PVP it still seems to get resisted alot also.</p><p>The remaining few points are in Shapeshift (1) and the INT line.</p><p>The predator boost looks sweet, but right now I would have to give up the root enhancement.</p><p>Not sure about the OP, but I am concerned about PVP ramifications only, PVE is a cakewalk.</p><p>No hijack intended, it does seem like we are concerned with nearly an indentical question, thanks.</p>

<p>Well, dunno about the lower lvls tbh (there was no AA back then <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ), but what will most likely kill me in PvP are stuns and interupts. preventing me from outhealing the incomin damage and doing enough damage to kill someone</p><p>I think If i´d create another Fury just or PvP-Twinkage I would first go and max out Strike of Thunder (well, + the  needed points in the DoT), directly followed by Wis line to get serenity (30 sec Immunity to stuns and interupts).</p><p>A few points more Int won´t increase my damage THAT much, and relying on crits to win a fight won´t help a lot either ... shorter casts and recast (aka a LOT more damage) + beeing able to actually get those nukes and heals through could be quite useful tho ^^</p><p>With the points left I´d work on Animalism for the runspeed. </p><p>ah welll, just my 2 cents </p>
