<p>Been almost two weeks since the updates to Test but<i> </i>havent seen mention of it going live even though the servers have been dropped several times this week for "brief updates". </p><p>With Rok being released around Nov 13th it would seem they would want NotD removed from production prior to go live for RoK and give people enough prior to that time to participate in NotD events AND the additional Iksar quests to further build anticipation for RoK. This leaves me believing this will go away Nov 6-7. </p><p>Makes you wonder how much use Shard of Fear will see with the attention shifted to Rok if it doesnt go in soon though.</p><p>So has anyone seen a release date?</p>

I have a feeling SOF will see use even after ROK is released. It just won't see as much.

<p>Per "<a href="http://clockworkgamer.com/2007/10/03/more-pictures-of-fear/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">More Pictures of Fear!</a>" at Clockwork Gamer, we have confirmation from Grimwell that the intended release date is October 17th.</p>

If shard of fear does not get used often it will because it is in a bad location. Nobody is going to want to run all the way over there just to do one zone when there will be similar zones all grouped together on Kunark. They should put some type of quick travel option on the beach like the teleporter in Lavastorm or the catapult in Zek.

I had no idea that thing worked, but, would love to give it a shot

Talk to the guy just next to the catapult. I belive the name of the quest is 'The Right Brothers'. According to my quest journal it should be either Oarwill or Wulbir Wight you speak to.

Run through the entire zone of Feerrot, around mountain ranges, through a tunnel. It's actually not that far from the zone in, but by the time you add in all the stuff you have to run around, plus it being on the other half of the map from the zone in... it's a long run.

<p>Not very much longer than running all the from Faydark to Acadeschism, before the horses came I think.</p><p>And people go to Acadeschism</p>

Ah, but I never said they wouldn't go to Shard of Fear. That was someone else. Also, if you know GFay well, the run is not long at all.

Having the druid ring active would be nice.

The druid ring and wizard being active would be nice. Not really that much more helpful but nice.a horse that runs to the tunnel or a some type of teleporter would be cool.Don't forget the original temple of cazic thule had a direct wizard port in it. also known as cazic gate. The zone is extremely out of the way. I think some form of cazic port would help the zones longevity alot.

So unless you had a low level character who went to DFC during that time, you wouldn't have noticed.
