necro illy duo

70 necro here planning on boxing an illy for major buffs and mezzes..  was wondering (and here's my plan) do the AA single target buffs for illys work on pets? i wanted to cast illusionary arms on my pet as well as attack speed., then cast the cast speed aa buff (cant remember name) and the synergism line on my necro. then another random buff. will this work as well as it should on paper? my necro is specced for soloing.

I've never parsed Illusory Arm on a pet to see if it's working, but you can cast it on them.  Time Compression works fine on pets, so I don't know why IA wouldn't, unless pets are disallowed double attacks entirely.

<p>Speaking from experience, I have this combo.  Both toons can and do raid EOF as well, so they are kitted fairly nicely.</p><p>The duo ability is fairly insane.  IA works on necro pets, yes.  Synergism will proc from pets as well, but will not deagro the pet (so beware agro).</p><p>For serious name killing, if you are spec'd for Tank pet agro (STA/WIS) and tainted heals, you can easily maintain the pets health while a chronosiphon'd Illusionist burns the mob down.</p><p>So this was my setup:</p><p>Necro specd: STA / WIS for M1 Tank pet (not hard to get/buy).  EOF specs for Tainted heals/Gravecalling</p><p>Illus specd: AGI/INT.  EOF lines for IA and TC.</p><p>Buff the Tank pet with Haste, IA, spellshield.  Buff Necro with TC and Synergism.  Self (Illus) buff with Synergism.</p><p>I raised the Illus as a coercer at first for ease of leaving town/calling home, etc, but the flip to Illus did wonders for his DPS abilities.</p>
