Necro duo with Fury a good call?

Me and a friend just started playing this game - so both of us are newbish and lacking any twinking ability.Would a Necro and Fury be a good DUO combo for us to play the game from 1-70? (if its just us 2).Are there any large level gaps where we would suck and others where we would do really well?Thanks for any advice.

Awesome duo. You won't regret it. You get tanking, DPS, healing (Tainted heals AA) from necroand healing, DPS, buffs (nice INT buff) and utility from Fury.You get the convenience of fast travelling as well (fury portals and runspeed buff).If you got all the expansions there should be no problem to level up to 70 with that duo.Have fun.

<p>If the necro is spec'd for Tanking (STA/WIS) - would highly recommend an Illusionist in the duo instead.  In this case, the Necro is the healer/tank, with the illus utility ensuring power is always maintained and crowd control.</p><p> But more so than a Fury, a necro/illus duo can take down higher names/instances.</p>
