There are some Radeon 2XXX cards(dx10 certified and AVIVO HD compatible) over at www.newegg.com starting at 85.00 US

I'm now positive he has PCI. So any specfic suggestions on the best video cards that'll be compatable with a 2.40 P4 and 768 MB RAM?

Already looked around newegg.com a bit at their PCI card selection, but not sure which would work with a 2.4 P4 and 768 RAM.

Was there an on-board graphics controller? If so, then that might explain why there are only PCI slots.

Do you have the make/model of the computer? If not, then the make/model of the motherboard?

Yes, it also has an integrated video card. Sorry, I left the make and model out, normally include it when requesting computer advice. He has a Dell Dimension 2400.

My wife and I recently upgraded our computers, but the old ones that we had were PCI only (no AGP and no PCI express). We both had an ATI Radeon 9250 PCI running the game for us. It wasn't the best, but it ran the game fine on High Performance. We noticed the biggest benefit performance-wise on these older computers when we upgraded the memory in them from 512 Mb to 1 Gb.I believe that this is the one we had: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16814102434
